This research is a qualitative research, while the data collection is collected through literature study (literature study) in the form of books; article; journals; and publications. Writing is an activity to create notes or information on a medium using characters. And the text description is an effort to process data into something that can be expressed clearly and precisely with the aim that it can be understood and understood. In this study, it shows that the media image greatly affects students' ability to write descriptive essays. Not all image media must be juxtaposed with writing descriptive essays but it can also be with other essays such as narration or poetry and others. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of students, can the total physical response in increasing students' vocabulary. This study uses a literature study consisting of several sources, such as primary data from journals and theses as well as secondary data from books. The results of the study can be seen that every research that has been carried out has obtained a precentage result that shows an increase in student learning outcomes, The average percentage on improving students' vocabulary through total physical response method in English subjects starts from the lowest 24.30% to the highest 66% with a difference of 41.7%. The average increase in students' vocabulary before using the TPR method in learning English was 37.78% and after using the TPR method in learning English it increased to 84% with a difference of 45.71%. That's a big problem for memorizing vocabulary, especially for conversation. Based on the formulation of the research above, the objective of the research were formulated to identify whether time token Arends can improve the students’ vocabulary skills. The research that the researcher do here is a study literature, using a qualitative approach. In collecting the required data, the researcher uses books as primary data and previous theses and journals for secondary data, while in the discussion using the time token method, which is a method that is expected to be able to make students active in learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of students in reading,aspecially narrative text.this study uses a literature study consisting of several sources,such as primary data from journal and theses as well as secondary data from books,the result of the study can be seen that every research that has been carried out has obtained a the average result that shows an increase&nbsp; in student learning outcomes,the average percentage on inproving student vocabulary trought mind mapping&nbsp; method in English subject,before using the mind mapping method 49,40% and than after using the mind mapping method 50,59%,based on this it is proven that mastery of vocabulary student continued to improve after using the mind mapping method in English subject.</p> 2022-03-21T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c)
