Abstract

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process which is still centered on the teacher and the simple presentation of the material and the results of the scores obtained by students are still below the KKM. Therefore, the researcher decided to use poster image media. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using poster image media on the learning outcomes of science sub theme 1 characteristics of living things in grade 3 students of SDN Pipitan in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research method uses a quantitative method with pre-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design and the instrument used is a test, namely by conducting (pretest) then given treatment (treatment) then conducted a final test (posttest). Data analysis techniques by finding the average value, normality test and hypothesis test

This research is a quantitative research with a free experimental research type. The population in this study were all students of grade 3 of SDN Pipitan totaling 51 students.

The sample of this study was one class with 23 students, the test instrument used to determine the results of students' science learning was a multiple-choice test in the form of a post-test consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions.

The results of the study showed that the average pre-test score was 38.26 and the average post-test score was 56,96. Based on the data above, it can be seen that the pre-test and post-test results have a sig value of 0.00 <0.05 so that the decision taken is that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an influence of image media on the learning outcomes of science sub-theme 1 characteristics of living things in grade 3 students of SDN Pipitan in the 2024/2025 academic year.
